About Pat Peacock

Wherever We Live, It Matters. I live in Davenport. I’m here to serve the citizens of the 7th Ward.

Patrick Peacock is running to be your 7th Ward Alderman on the Davenport City Council.  Pat received a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Business Economics from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

Pat followed his desire to serve his country, and enlisted in the United States Army.  He received a commission as an Infantry officer through Officer Candidate School in 2008. Pat completed two tours in Iraq, two in Afghanistan, one in Kosovo, and one in Liberia.

He proudly became a Captain during this time, and received numerous Army awards including the Bronze Star.

Pat retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 2018 after 20 years of gallantly serving his country. Pat has been vocal on labor, civil rights, public education, and fair housing issues.

He served as NAACP treasurer, and was a Big Brother with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He is a member of American Legion Post #26, and life member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Association the United States Army.

Pat Peacock wants to champion bringing good jobs to Davenport, reversing the trend of young adults leaving the area. Pat will work with friends of Labor to bolster apprenticeship programs. He will also fight for better management of Davenport's infrastructure.

New business and new people will come when infrastructure is well maintained and smartly funded. Pat Peacock wants to help make Davenport a safe and prosperous place to live, work, and raise a family.

Thank you for supporting Pat with a donation and by volunteering. You will be glad you did.
